Anne-Catherine Ries Digital Policy Advisor, Luxembourg Government

Born on 1 April 1973, Mrs Ries became a director on 1 January 2015. Mrs Ries is Senior Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister and Minister for Media and Communications in Luxembourg with a focus on telecom and digital strategy. She is i.a. in charge of coordinating the government’s ‘Digital Luxembourg’ priority. Anne-Catherine Ries graduated with a law degree from the Université de Paris II and the University of Oxford. She holds a postgraduate LL.M degree with honours from the London School of Economics, where she specialised in Telecommunications, Information Technology and European Competition Law. After starting her professional career in a law firm in Paris, she joined the Permanent Representation of Luxembourg to the EU in Brussels in 2000. Upon her return to Luxembourg and over the last decade, her focus has been on attracting tech companies to establish and develop in Luxembourg. She sits on the Board of Directors of POST Luxembourg. Mrs Anne-Catherine Ries is member of the Nomination Committee of the Company. Mrs Ries is a Luxembourg and French national. She is not an independent director because she represents an important shareholder.

Alain Rodermann Founder and Managing Partner, Expon Capital

Alain Rodermann is founder and managing partner at Expon Capital, a VC firm based in Luxembourg, focusing on early stage exponential ventures. He has been an active investor in venture capital firms since 1997: founder of the seed fund Arenatis Capital, partner of Sofinnova Partners for 10 years, a leading European VC firm and investment director of Innovacom, the VC Arm of Orange. He invested as a lead investor in many early and late stage ventures and served as board member in 30 high tech and biotech companies across Europe and in the USA, including, Netvalue, EmailVision, Atomz, Maximiles, and still private companies Wyplay, Geneanet, Welovewords, Sirdata, GMP-Orphan, iTravel, or Tribe. This followed 8 years with Bouygues and Alcatel in management positions in Datacenters projects, defense systems and software development. Alain holds a MS in electrical engineering from Supelec, a MBA from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and a BA in History of Art. He is also an instructor of Japanese martial arts.

Edith Magyarics CEO, Victor Buck services

After spending 8 years at the Bank of New York Mellon Brussels, and 9 years with JP Morgan Asset Management SARL Luxembourg , Edith Magyarics joined ING in January 2010 as Chief Operating Officer. After having migrated all activities to one single Service Provider she was responsible to oversee functions (TA, Custody, Fund Administration, Investment.) delegated to Outside Service Providers. She was also appointed as Management Company Director and Fund Director of several SICAV. In May 2012, Edith has been appointed CEO of Luxembourg-based Victor Buck Services to speed up the firm's international growth strategy. She has focused on establishing strategic and global organisational changes to ensure optimal operational set up, cost efficiency and Client Centric solutions with specific attention to controls and governance.

Polina Montano COO, Jobtoday

Polina Montano is the co-founder and COO of Job Today. A serial entrepreneur with a background in retail, Russian-born Polina has a history of implementing her ideas and running her own businesses. Before founding Job Today with her friend Eugene Mizin, she managed six petrol stations in her chosen home Luxembourg. This gave her the idea for a mobile hiring solution. Together, they launched Job Today in Barcelona in April 2015. Within a year, Job Today was also operational in Madrid, Paris and London. Polina studied Business Administrations in Amsterdam and holds a Master Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Luxembourg.

Jean Michel Ludwig Director, Start-up Support & SME Performance at Luxinnovation

An international business management graduate (B.A) in 1998, Jean-Michel Ludwig had his first professional experience (4 years) as project officer in a German consultancy company involved in European R&D project management. He then joined Luxinnovation, the Luxembourg agency for innovation and research, in January 2002 to develop dedicated support services for companies and research organisations. In March 2015 he was appointed of Director – Head of Start-up and SME Performance while completing an Executive MBA at ICN Business School (2014-2016). Since 2009 he has been delivering various classes at the University of Strasbourg and the ICN Business School on International Project Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation
